Linen or Paper micarta for bolsters?

OK, knife in my avatar is getting micarta bolsters to replace the brass(long story, dont' ask).

I have linen and paper micarta here(both black). WHich is likely to look best for bolsters? Wood is bocote, pins are brass, if that matters.

Go paper -- if you don't "burn" it, you can get it to look nice and smooth.
