Liner lock liners ???

I have built a couple of folder kits, with pretty mediocre resultshttp://www.bladeforums.com/forums/images/smilies/emot-jerkit.gif I must say, but after reading through Ray Rogers tutorial I would like to try one from scratch. My question is, If I am building a utility folder for pretty heavy use will 0.06 liners be heavy enough in titanium or should I be looking to stainless in stead?

I think .06 will be good if you have scales, If not .100 would be what you would want to use. I am no expert by any means, but it is what I have seen. Hope that helps.

Yep, 1/16" is plenty stout for most liner locks.

Thank you I do plan on having scales. Probably ebony or rose wood.

But of course you do, otherwise it would be a framelock.
Even on most framelocks you'll find the relief cut goes to .060" or thinner.

0.050 would be plenty with scales , unless it's heavy-duty.
