I bought two sets. Used all four screws and just one of the barrels cut in half. I think the screws are 2-56's. Not positive though. You may be able to just by one set and a couple extra scews. If you get two though you leave yourself a little room for error (as in screwing up the threads or getting them the wrong length). I just cut the barrel with a hacksaw and then mounted them in my drill press and spun them on some sandpaper to get the ends smooth, straight and the proper length. As promised, here are some bad pictures of my first "custom" folder job. Can't see the detail too well but I also polished and reversed the pivot pin and cleaned up and polished the blade tang and clip. Turned out pretty well for the little investment made. Good luck.
