Liner locks - Something to get used to?

Do you linerlock users just get used to the feel of the liner against your skin? I really like my "Michael Walker" but i find a little discomfort when using the thumbs-up  looking grip. Not too worried, just a little uncomfortable. Thanks.

Are you asking about liner locks (which have a scale over the lockbar) or framelocks (where the lockbar is exposed)?
Liner locks like the Military require no adjustment for me. I don't even notice the liner/lockbar until it is time to close the knife.
Framelocks require an adjustment I am not willing to make. I have half a dozen, and I won't carry any of them. I just don't care much for metal handles, and exposed locks bug me too.

I have a couple of liner locks (Al Mar Mini-SERE and Buck Strider 881) that get occasional carry & use. They are liner locks, not frame locks. I don't notice the lockbar until I need to use it. I've never had any problem with grip or lockup on either of them, but I don't buy liner locks as a rule because I don't really trust that lock style... from anybody!

Hmmm, maybe I meant frame-lock. The locking mechanism is really exposed. Which is different from my Dads Old-Timer where it was kind of hidden. Im slowly getting used to the whole aluminum handle thing too. Kinda wish Id gone for the Delica, or Endura.

It's not too late to go for the Delica and Endura ;)
I carry both every day. The ZDP Endura replaced a BGCF Military in my loadout.

Fair enough, the Walker is nice enough to keep even if I use something else as my working blade.
