Liner locks

What metal do you use to make a liner lock out of. I would like to make a liner lock knife. 416,5160 or something else

You can ,of course, use anything you want for the blade but titanium is by far the easiest to go with for the liners. One liner will need to have a leaf spring cut into it. Titanium does not require heat treating in this application. Frank
