linerless knife question

Is stabilized wood strong enough to be used without a liner? I know micarta and G-10 are but want sure about the stabilized woods
 
Frame lock no,I would use a thin Ti of SS liner..030 would be plenty.

Have made a ton of em with Micarta. I'm with Stan- not wood. Now if you were to put an inside
ss washer and one outside it would probably be ok. Still a solid liner on either side of the spring
is a better bet.
