Man that's a beauty John! I just purchased a new firearm otherwise I would probably be sending you a check. Maybe I'll order one down the road when some more discretionary funds become available.

Hi John -

I was lucky to be able to handle that one at the gathering.

The action is very smooth, and it locks up with a nice snick and did not have any play.

Someone will get a very fine liner-lock, and it will have that #1 on it to make it even more special.

best regards -

I was going to buy this one for my birthday. Today I had to use the money for an alignment though. Dang.

Maybe yellow handles? Not many knives have yellow handles. I don't mind them, reminds me of a sodbuster.

Undoubtedly a larger size would be preferable to most. In my opinion though the most important thing is exposure. More people need to be seeing it. I keep saying it but somebody really needs to post a review and compare it to a known blade in the reviews forum. Those of us that hang out here know how good your blades are but like me can't buy anything right now. If I had the money it would be in my pocket today.
Early to bed, early to rise, ADVERTISE ADVERTISE ADVERTISE!

I'm with protourist - if I had the $$ at the moment, I would jump.
It looks like a good size for daily carry, I'm just pretty well strapped right now thanks to some unexpected weather related expenses.

Good point. I have some different material in the shop, I might redo it, along with some other changes I`ve been thinking about.

I agree, exposure is key to sales. That`s why I always hope that customers will post photos in forums other than mine. I was thinking about a passaround, but then I remember the last one I did.

Maybe a passaround is not such a bad idea, if the participants were guys who were actually interested in a possible purchase of one of these, and were to post reviews in other forums. What do you guys think? I would reserve the right to choose who would do it, and the knife would not be given away at the end, but the participants would have the option of buying it at a discounted price. Thoughts? Comments?

That is a good idea. Not sure how you decide who is serious about buying, but that is a good thought.

If I did do a passaround, I was thinking about limiting it to current JK owners. Also, based on past passarounds, I kind of have a feel as to who would do a review, and who would "not have time." There are some owners who have owed me a review for 6 months, they would not be eligible.

I guess that is kind of a dumb idea.:o Maybe it`s best to "pass" on the passaround idea.

John, instead of a pass around you should pick one guy who you know will do a review on the knife and ship it to him. There are quite a few guys here in your forum who have had nice reviews before on other JK blades, get with one and see if they would be willing to give her a whirl for a week or so and do a write up. One good review is probably worth more then a few half hearted reviews and the hassle of hunting down where the blade is and when the reviews are coming. Just my 2 cents.

That`s a good thought, just need to figure out who. If anyone is interested, send me an email.

I'm interested in testing it. I'm not a technical reviewer, so weighing it and describing minute specs is not going to happen, but I will carry it and use it like my other pocket knives.
