Linerlock #1 For Sale

I'm interested in testing it. I'm not a technical reviewer, so weighing it and describing minute specs is not going to happen, but I will carry it and use it like my other pocket knives.

Do you have similar knives to compare it to. I keep thinking that when people will see it next to their favorite production models they will realize that they can get a custom for, in many cases, a lower price than their productions. Someone just has to show them the way.

This rules me out of the testing pool - I have no mid to high end folders to compare it to.

Here it is, in a more "subtle" handle color.

Hi John -

Thanks for the chance to play with the cub-scout for a while. I am just afraid I would have to buy it after the passaround is over....... :^)

I like the brick scales, but the "yeller" was more traditional looking in my mind. I could see that knife in jigged bone scales too! Lots of options as it appears to have redily replaceable scales.

Will the yellow scales be available with it when it goes back up for sale?

best regards -

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to try to make any rules, simply a suggestion. In my personal opinion any review will be beneficial as long as they are posted in areas that people will see them.

Yellow scales will be available for it. Do you guys like it better with or without the stop pin screws? I realized they don`t do anything, so left them off off the revised model.

I think those of us that use your knives use them for whatever tasks require a blade. Does the pin in question add rigidity to the frame? If so I would prefer it. The stronger the better in my opinion.

no worries - it was a good suggestion, and Jon has me in the rotation, so all is good.

As to the stop pin question - If it truly does nothing, I don't see a need for it.
If it adds any structural strength/rigidity, then I like having it there.

I have an Emerson A-100, a Benchmade mini Griptilian, a Buck 110, a Kershaw assisted opening knife, and a couple others around here. I carry a SAK and the Benchmade most days. I have always wanted a Sebenza but too cheap to pay fixed blade prices for a folder. I'm looking forward to this one.

And for the record, I liked the yellow better.

The stop pin is there, held in place by the titanium liners. The screws really do nothing. I`ll give the buyers a choice of either way.

I`ll be sending the knife out later this week to Rockywolf. (I have a package going to him anyway, might as well save a few bucks. :D)

The order will be:
Rockywolf

The Rules are:
You may keep the knife for no more than 2 weeks..
You must ship Priority Mail, with delivery confirmation, and insure it for $200.00
You must post a review, with photos, in a forum other than mine, within 5 days of passing it on.

Everyone agree?

Looks like we are good to go! Keep in mind, this is the first one. I already see some things that can improve it, so be gentle. :D
