Liners?

Quick-n-dirty: shower pan liner from the Despot under standard tweener scales. Undersized the bolt holes a little....don't think any water is going to get under them.

I used red plastic folders. Five layers on each side. The width allows the BK4 to fill my hand better. Good luck!

Layering lets you build up a 'perfect' fit.

These folders are 4/$1, come in colors, and you can get a dozen layers out of each one.
 
Very nice. Did you have to change out the hardware, or were you able to keep the original screws?

I was able to use the original hardware. I was happy the bolts were able to get a thread on the nut. Cool thing about layers is I would have took one or two out until i could ordered longer.

Your exactly right! I was going to do the same with my BK2 but then i saw RED scales....yep. addicted...
 
Found some more...
White G10 under drunken coffeebag micarta, and white G10 & burgundy micarta under mycarta.



.010 red and .020 black G10 under Elm:


The red's so thin it's semi-transparent.

Yellow .030 G10 and .010 copper:

I usually pick up oversize stainless hardware and cut then grind them to size.
