Lines in satin finish, normal

I've had three DOCs and Killswitches that have had grind lines like that. I figured it was just standard after the first two.

I've had a few Benchmades with lines like that but you could only see them in the right light.

You can see it here:

But not here:

My new 20cv grip has one but again, only in the right light.

Ok, maybe my OCD is just getting the best of me. As long as it's not a flaw that will hinder function, I can handle the imperfection

Previous posters are correct. The most telling area is right above the first C in Microtech. If you zoom in and look at where the grind meets the flat of the blade, right above the first C, you can see what it is. To shape that area of the blade, they had to use a flat belt, on the right side (heel side), and a curved wheel on the left side, towards the tip. It looks like they just went ever so slightly deeper with the curved abrasive wheel, and caused the transition to be unsmooth. It will not be a problem, functionally, but if it bothers you, get it swapped out NOW. Don't wait. You'll only have more issues getting it swapped later.

Ok, think I'll have any luck since I'm the second owner? Thanks!
