That is a very beautiful knife Sir. I had one similar to that years ago, and regret selling it. May I ask, who does the heat treating for the blade?

I wish I could remember. I ground the knife blade 20 years ago, my job got so demanding that I gave up knife making. Now that I am retired I put the handle on it and got back in to making knives. I think it was a guy in California that heat treated under controlled conditions because I remember when the knife blanks came back all I needed to do was give them a final buff. Someone told me that the guy had retired, not surprising being 20 years ago. Thanks for asking, Bernie
