Lion spy or zt 0560 series ?

I personally decided to pass on the Lionspy. The Elmax blade is a definite plus in every way over Sleipner, but for the SR-1 the original appeal was the single piece titanium handles. I think the ZT 0560/1 would give more bang for the buck even though you pass up on the steel lock interface and Rotoblock in exchange for the KVT flipper.

right now I'm wishing i was in LV right now to get my hands on the 560. i really hope colored scales are going to be on sale like on the hinderers.

as for the lion spy root block, the root block is a neat ad-on but in no way is a must have for me. its like those glass breakers on the lion steel knives. they are just a little bonus on top, nothing i need to specifically look for in my blade purchases

I have both. My vote, right now is the Lionspy. It appeals to me more and feels better in my hand. I love the thick polished blade, spyder-hole and the handle textures of the Lionspy. My Lionspy is perfect. The0560 is very nice too, and I'm happy to have both. That's just my opinion. YMMV.

Considering the torture test done one the IKBS knives, I feel like sand in the bearings is not an issue, but can't be sure. As much as I love Spyderco, 0561 gets my vote. I don't have any plans to pick up a LionSpy.

I have both and I seem to grab the LionSpy more often.

Reasons:
Comfort/Ergos
Slices very well even with a 5mm thick blade
Looks classier but still has the hard use capability
