I think I have only seen one or two ram's horn covers that weren't completely amazing, they were simply pretty darn good.

Eek!!!! Just noticed a crack in the horn. There's no way I'm returning it though. It's too pretty. I'll break out the Krazy Glue tonight, and fill the crack.

I really like the looks of the Palo Santo wood. At first I didn't like the look of the screws, but I'm quite taken with the finished product. I also like the opportunity the construction offers to change the covers easily. I know at some point when I'm feeling up to it, I'm going to be making interchangeable covers. I'm thinking some micarta and some other exotic woods.
I didn't preorder one for awhile Bob but finally did and really happy about my decision to get one. I like this knife as well as any Barlow I've ever owned. I am also going to play around with some different covers and if they still have some at the end of the month I'm going to get a couple more.

Thanks, I am extremely happy with this knife and at the price point with the steel, the blade shape, the titanium, no rust, the double pull, the smooth transition from tang to blade.
Out of the park....I order a rams horn too!

I didn't pre order at all Randy. I just ordered a Santo Wood. I'll just be getting the one knife and making some covers of my own to swap out.
How are these as cutters/slicers? I got to handle one at the GEC Rendezvous but didn't check to see if the grind was thin for use. Really hope so.
Wow!!! The stag on these is absolutely amazing. I was sad to see the CF is sold out, but the stag looks great. I'm not usually into Ram's horn or that wood, but they even look great.
