Finally getting around to reserving one of the Lion Steel m390 traditionals, and I can't decide between them (I know... I know... get both...:D), so I thought I would post this poll to see where everyone lands between the two.

Bonus Question: which handle material would you go with? I am leaning Ram or Micarta personally.

(checks “get them both button”).

I like the looks of horn, but I shy away from it because the two examples I had shrunk considerably. Maybe there is a maintenance and care procedure I’m not aware of, but I vote for micarta.

Shufflers for me because I favor clip points. That being said, the spear points are quite stunning. I'm going with ram's horn and stag.

I'm going Spear.
Hard for me not to vote for a knife I carry nearly every day.
It has cleaned over 20 Fox Squirrel already this season.
It still looks new and sharp as can be. Amazing steel.

I love my Roundheads and so I have no hesitation pointing you in that direction. But once the Shuffler is in hand, it may move into first place.
Can’t go wrong with Ram’s Horn...they have all been handsome, with some simply stunning. That being said, my Shuffler handle choice was the white carbon fiber. My first CF handled knife, so I’m excited about that. I realize though, that it’s one more step away from a traditional folder.

I really like my ram’s horn Roundhead.

But that clip point Shuffler was love at first site. The proportions are so perfect. And the micarta option makes it practically my dream knife. It looks soooooooooo fine. I have to go Shuffler on this one.

I won't vote because the answer is 2 of each. :)
Santos and carbon fiber for the roundhead and carbon fiber and micarta for the shuffler.
For most of my daily use, clip or spear, either will work fine.

I'm probably going to end up collecting these. I'm going to get a clip point shuffler in micarta for carrying. I just can't bring myself to carry my ram's horn spearpoint. But the ram's horn is so nice that I'll get one for the drawer anyway. And a stag. If I have the money, which I probably won't.

OK, I give up. Who sells these? I can't find a dealer. I'd like a Shuffler (assuming they are not too expensive).

I missed the first run of the Roundheads. This time, I could not decide between the two blades nor between horn and stag. I ended up reserving a Roundhead in horn and a Shuffler in stag. Can't wait for these!

I am thinking I will EDC on or the other. It may have been smarter to order on them in CF just for EDC as I may not want to harm either the stag or horn.

I have the CF Roundhead and I really love this knife. But in 40 plus years of knife collecting I don't have a wood handle knife so I have on early reserve a Bocote Shuffler and it has my favorite blade shape that beautiful clip blade. Can't wait till January?hopefully

Right now I have a Rounhead stag and abalone... Seem to have one or the other in my pocket all the time lately...This time around I'm going to try the white CF Shuffler.. Also another Roundhead,
this time in Bocote......Great Knives
