Lion steel Sr2 or Spydie Techno

I like the feel of the techno, unfortunately I can't find a sr2 in store. Is the techno a good slicer?

Re: a good slicer?... what ever I've sliced so far (and I've had it about a week) I have no complaints.
It certainly is not like a Delica or a Endura, as you already know/have seen it's thick spine... but it's also amazingly very thin at the cutting edge.
I find it to be a really interesting design which I like.

I read many reviews and watched many videos of it for two weeks before I purchased it, this was one review I found interesting.
He initially didn't like it, tried to sell it, no one showed interest and he started using it where upon he decided he really liked it and he convexed the edge on his.
The knife is NOT for sale, just a review of it here:

The Techno is brillliant. If they were to release a secondary edition thats big as a Delica it would be my holy grail. (The size of the Techno is great, but I'd love to have a larger size as well... kind of like the Small Sebenza & Large Sebenza)

But to the question about slicing.... its actually pretty damn impressive. It comes down to an extremely lean profile.

I say if you can handle a smaller blade, The Techno might be one of the best utility blades you can find. It's also a pretty charming knife... not threatening at all.
