Lion Steel Update

We have no doubt in you, Gianni. Thanks for your hard work and the attention to detail!

Thank you to everyones.
We are very proud to produce knives for Esee company. We will do our best to meet RYP and Jeff requirements.
We are working very hard, we hope to make a good job, like Esee reputation deserve.

Knowing how your knives are, I have no doubt it will be an awesome folder.

Thats one hell of a knife!
Looks really good, thinking of getting one myself. The anticipation of the coming HEST folder got me looking at high end/heavy duty folders. Being a good 100 euro's below than a XM18 or large sebenza its tempting :)

SR-1 looks like a beast, with fab build quality - but the clip seems quite small relative to the knife

The clip actually appears small, but now carrying it for a while every day, i have zero complaints. Its strong, good placement. Holds on to the pocket well and slips out very smooth. I actually cant find a single fault with the knife except that its a beast:D

The HEST dimensions are a bit smaller, so to me I think LionSteel quality and HEST size will be the best EDC for me. As far as the steel they use for the SR-1, which I believe is the same used for the HEST... All i can say is:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: With opening up boxes and letters every day, cutting up some food in the kitchen, i have only had to strop it on green compound once in the past two weeks. My RAT 1 folder in AUS 8 i have to strop daily. I still love that knife though, just the ergo and everything about it except the AUS 8 steel.

This knife SR-1 has made me even more excited about the upcoming HEST. to me this knife is up with CRK and Hinderer in quality easily. I suspect the same will be with the HEST:thumbup:

So the Hest folder will not be made in USA? Just curious because I remember Jeff or Mike pledging they will always keep their products made in the USA. Then we see the Imacasa Machete, bags made in Columbia, etc.
I'm not one of the folks who won't buy from other countries, just requesting a little clarification.

that's why it's a DPX knife, and not an ESEE
