Lionspy or Tuff?

I actually used to have an SR-1 Ti. Super solid knife but I'm not a fan of the short clip. Ended up trading it but I thought I might give the LionSpy a go.
For the sake of trying something different, I may have to go with the Tuff.
It's a Tuff choice!

I vote lionspy...i got one today and have had the tuff for a while. The lionspy is amazing. It is like a cross between the tuff and the vallatton. The size and beefiness of the tuff with the great looks as well as F&F of the vallatton.

Sooo.... I chose neither. For the time being at least. Ended up exchanging the Szabo for an Emerson Roadhouse.

I know, I know. It may seem sacrilegious to utter those words here. But I happened to scoop up a Ti Millie as well. So at least one beefy Spyderco is making it's way into my hands this week.

If we are throwing the Sr1 into the mix that would get my vote as well. As for the Elmax, I believe that was specific to another company and their heat treatment method. I personally put more faith into what Spydrco can do with it... but that's just my .02.

Elmax is a fantastic steel but hard to do right. Has Spyderco ever botched up their blades without fixing it by recalling? That's my favorite thing about the company.
