Lionsteel did what even CRK couldn't.

Made a framelock that I don't hate.

Photos of a customer's knife after sharpening:

Lionsteel SR2A. Something about the geometry avoids the problem that most framelocks pose in my hand. Usually the knuckle pad on my index finger will squeeze in on the lock causing it to stick.

The superb construction doesn't hurt either.

Many different types of folders out there. Something for everyone. I don't like the blade shape on the Lionsteel SR2A. I have several CRK's. I really like the

blade shape and the handle.

Beautiful edge on that bad boy TLE!!! Real nice work my friend!!
I would have a couple of these, but like the Tic Tac dude, I can't warm up to that blade shape. I love everything else about that knife!

So do I. The sebenza blade shape is perfect as far as I'm concerned and I like the handle well enough. The lock just doesn't work for me and it's enough of an issue to kill the knife.

I'm absolutely smitten with that little Lionsteel though. D2 even!

I have an SR2A.
I couldn't warm to it, until I pulled the clip off. It feels so beautiful in my hand now! My only continueing gripe is blade thickness: way too thick, & I'm wondering about thinning it.

TLE, that knife is Sleipner steel, which is the premium choice in Lionsteel's eyes, apparently. I think Sleipner & D2 seem very similar, though.

Meh, Sleipner, D2, they'll both split hairs when I'm done. Hah!

I definitely cannot wait to get that knife back with the new not crap edge! If it wasn't obvious, das mein. The SR2A is a completely different frame lock from any of have seen before, there are no sharp edges on the handle, everything is rounded or chamfered, and it just basically locks into my grip. Only downside is that it can't really be flicked open, which is the best part of a knife.

I loved my sr2a.. I hated the one piece construction.. way to hard toget the blade and washers back into the handle

See, I don't mind the non-flicking part. I rarely flick mine open anyway. I have balis for that.
