  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Lionsteel M9

I wonder what steel will they use? I would love the M9 made of M390!!!
The places I use to bring a knife are often in tropical and sea front areas....I need a stainless blade!

I’m not sure m390 has the sufficient toughness for a large blade

it would be interesting to listen Molletta's opinion about this: come on Michele! What stainless steel would be proper for an M9 eventually?

I would go for a semi stainless tough carbon steel like CPM 3V.
Most real stainless steels are too brittle for large choppers

Well it's been a couple of years now and the M series seems to have plateaued at 7. I just recently learned about Lionsteel and have fallen in love with my M7, but a bigger version would be fantastic. I would buy an M9 (or an M10, M11, M12...) in a heartbeat. Maybe I'm crazy but I'd really like an M23!!!
