Lionsteel TM1 or Hogue EX04?

Long time lurker but decided to join and get some feedback. Finally deciding to retire my Emmerson CQC 15 and looking at the Hogue EX04 and Lionsteel TM1, both roughly the same size and price. I am leaning towards the lionsteel at the moment. Seems to be very well made and I like what I've read about the steel. The Hogue wins on being made in America and that awesome blue micarta but the tip down carry, pocket clip placement, and blade coating are cons for me. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Personally, I would take the Lionsteel. I really like the TM1. I don't own one, but it is on my list. The Hogue is nice too, but falls into second place. Llama, both knives can be bought at a variety of knife stores.

I'm a Lionsteel fan, but I'd get the Hogue cuz it's funky. I like seeing companies be creative with their designs.

You can't really go wrong with either though.

I much prefer the aesthetics and ergonomics of the hogue and also prefer the button lock over the lockback, deployment seems smoother as well from the videos I've watched but again, build quality and steel I think Lionsteel wins. First world problems.
