www.wow-direct.com (the store here), www.DiscountKnives.com , and www.MJSKnives.com .

No offense to the others, but Mark at MJS has blown me away with his service. Over the course of 3 hours yesterday, we emailed back and forth. I was looking for a specific lefty model of a Spyderco. He couldn't find it, probably because few if any were made. When I finally did order, he sent my tracking # about an hour later, AFTER UPS had already picked it up. Yeah, part of that was the time I ordered, but he rushed and got it ready for me, even though I didn't ask! He also said he'd keep looking for my original request and, if he found one, he'd trade even with me for the model I did order.

I've had good experiences with WOW and Discount Knives, but MJS just raised the bar.

I`ve had no troubles with anyone on the forums.I don`t see Leslie from NWC around lately.Earl is well known.Ray Jay is a recent, and good contact. Most have already been covered.

Of those mentioned above that I've dealt with, I've also had good experiences.

I'd like to nominate Frank Norman of Little River. Always a good guy to deal with, and good at keeping people updated on the status of stuff they've asked about.

I'm kinda surprised James Mattis of Chai Cutlery hasn't been mentioned yet. I haven't actually bought anything from him yet, but I've sent a few emails and he's always been prompt and good with replies.

I have traded with all of the following and found them to be reliable:
ABC Direct
Bayou Lafourche (Roger)
Discount Knives (Brian)
Gurkha House (Craig)
KnifeCenter
Knife Outlet (Fred)
Knife Mart
Knives-Express
Mj&S (Mark)
Pioneer Valley K&T (Josh)

Once in a great while, something will go wrong when trading even with these folks, but they can be relied upon to make it right. That's what makes them professionals and in some cases, friends.I value them as vital to my enjoyment of a great hobby.
