List of "must try" knives?

I've never spent more than $300.00 on a knife [ found a few good sales] but a couple of knives that make me want to go over that amount are the CS Natchez Bowie and the Swamp Rat Waki. I could probably think of others but those two come to mind.

Opinel (whichever model)
Kabar USMC
Benchmade Griptillian (or a similar model with Axis lock)
Kershaw Blur/Leek
J.A. Henckels kitchen knives (at least a paring knife, chef's knife)
At least one Gerber or Leatherman classic multitool.
Grohmann Fixed blade (either #1, 2, or 3 models)
Laguiole knife (too many brands & styles to name)

I don't necessarily use or even like all of these knives, but I'd say they'd give someone a good 'sample' of what's out there.

I need to add a Mora of some description to my list. I like the Clipper and Craftsman, but the Erikkson hard plastic grip models are very good as well.
