Opens by flipper tab or blade hole, lock is on the back (strap is symmetrical) and the clip is tip up either side (attaches on the end)....seems like it to me. I am a righty but I can manage to open and close lefty without issue.

It's a fun knife, carries well and is different. That was enough for me.
