List some of your favorite recurve fixed blades

N2S,
If your refering to the Alan Folts blade it'sby far the strongest lock I have seen..She's a fixed blade. :D

Just a tad over 11" and the steel is BG-42..

Duck,

You are quacking me up. :)

Alan's knife looked so much like a SIFU I must have imagined a bolster pin. No lock has always been my favorite. That's a great knife.

The SIFU was the model for the knife, just a few changes here and there to make her a bit more personal..Thanks for the compliment!!:)

Hey Bimmer,

Thought I would drop this one in on your post. Just finished for Blade Show. 6" blade / 11 3/8" oal. Dual ground ATS34 with tapered tang, red spacers, black canvas micarta, stainless pins and bead blasted. Fun to do!

Bimmer your TUSK will be out to ya just after the show. I'll try and post a pic when complete.

Regards,

David Dempsey

I don't care for recurves. (If you hit me I'll tell.) The only recurve I have is my slightly recurved Becker Campanion. It's an older Blackjack version, before Camillus, and it's slight recurve was accidentally done during sharpening at the factory. Otherwise, no recurves for me.

But, all your recurves sure do look pretty.

marty123- No recurves!! Why ever not! I suppose it is "ok" for you to have your "own opinions" even if they are WRONG!! :)

Niel that Daniel Long guy sure has some interesting art work, i hate to admit that i actually like it. I do think that you should get a picture of your liner locking Curr on the site along with the frame lock version. 3.5in Melee sounds good to me, when are you going to start taking orders again, i may not have knife money know, but i hope to soon!

David- i like that one too!

Amazing what Neil can do with some steel, a lil micarta and a lawn chair..:)

This is the coolest post ever. I am a bonafide recurve nut! When I draw out a new design I have to put forth a concious effort if I don't want it to be recurved. What's not to like about recurves? When properly done they are both extremely efficient, and exceptionally beautiful. A simple straight edge blade can't match there cutting performance.
Brian, thanks for posting the pic of The Hobgoblin. Here's a curvy pic of my own.
