I think the Zero Tolerance series is a best bang for the buck. Love my ZT0350. I also love my mini griptilian but I think it's a bit overpriced.

Why open a thread asking for members opinions and then tell them their opinions are "wrong"???

by The Logical One...I would have to agree on the Sebenza. People who has never seen one in person, touched it, or used it will always knock on it saying the knife is overpriced. IMO the product is a very clear reflection of its price.

Ademar,
you are young and new to this forum. You have your own opinions. That's fine.

CRK's are obviously well thought of by members here... and for good reasons. I prefer the blade shape of my Umnumzaan and the smooth opening/closing and slicing capabilities of my Sebenzas. If all of us agreed, there would only be one knife manufacturer.

Kershaw- S30V blur

Sog- Aegis

Benchmade- Barrage/ Infidel (depending upon these "rules")

Ontario- RAT-1

Zero Tolerance- 300ST

Spyderco- Endura Wave

I think for me the sweet spot is around $100. A lot of knives have excellent materials, F&F, and warranty in this price range. A few examples are the Spyderco Gayle Bradley, Military, Sage 1 and PM2. I also like my ZT 0350.

Whatever "the best" is would be subjective. I can't see myself spending $400 on a knife because I wouldn't want to use it.
