list your Folders with large finger choil

I've really become obsessed with finger choils.
At any rate, please list or post pics of your knives with finger choils.

This custom handmade folder is called the "PUSH", which is a collaborative result between Howard Viele and Liong Mah. It has Viele's trademark "3-holes in the blade" and gold "God Of War" symbol.

The blade steel is CPM S30V, blade length is 4 inches long, handle is 5 inches long, giving an overal length of 9 inches, orange peel textured titanium frame, orange peel textured titanium pocketclip and smooth ivory micarta handle scales. It has a Ball-Lock™ blade mechanism which holds the blade firmly in the open position and makes for easy one hand closing.

~ SPYDERCO PHOENIX ~ C114
C114_L.jpg

The C114 Phoenix has Howard Viele stamped all over it with a pinch of Spyderco thrown in. His folder features Spyderco’s Ball Bearing Lock™.

The ball bearing used in the lock sits on two springs that push it forward above the blade’s tang and locking the blade open. High-tech yet simple, the round bearing rotates, rolling in its housing never wearing at exactly the same spot. It self adjusts as the knife is repeatedly opened and closed, minimizing wear and tear.

Spyderco Manix
Same here for my EDC, but at work I carry a Benchmade 760. I like a 4" blade (would love to see a Manix with that!) and both are very comfortable in my hand. Different lockups, different materials, but both feel extremely secure.

First when I saw PUSH I was like: Wait a minute, Spyderco Phoenix wasn't that good looking or my memory is failing...

Spyderco Bob Terzuola SLipit as nice choil too

The Byrd Crossbill might qualify too.

Pohl Force Alpha 2. Brutal knives, nice and big :)

Also, the Kershaw Skyline has a fairly large finger choil.

I'm not sure I understand...where's the finger choil on that byrd?

You're right, it doesn't really have one, but it has an overall grip shape similar to some of the others posted, with the finger grooves and whatnot.

But mostly it just happened to be in the same pic as the Subclaw. :p
