He's got a woman who isn't into knives. Since he wants to keep the woman, he is staying away from our influence. :) I listed his Soo-hee back in March '07 but we haven't been in touch since.

He gave up on us for a woman?That is disturbing! :eek: I wonder if he gave up on his Battlestar Galactica love too. Nah, I bet he met her at a Comicon or something. :D Good for him, that dose of bromance he got at Blade in 03 probably had him scared. :D

Sorry Jason, I forgot to put an "a" on the end, sheesh. Don't get your nerd knickers in a bunch. :D I watched the original when I was a kid, but never got into the new on on Scifi.

Here's a pic of the prototype of the "Off Duty". . . Kinda like the "Active Duty" only its too fat to go to work! It is .350" thick!!!! The regular Active Duty from the Custom Shop is .150!!!! I'm not sure how many regular ADs it would take to equal 1 Off Duty. . . but it's got to be more than a couple!

For some reason, I polished this one up and have now sworn not to do that again unless under great duress! The planned Limited Run of the "Off Duty" model will be coated.

These things are pork bellies to the "nth" degree and require a slow moving vehicle sign (Orange Triangle) in order to be taken out into public!

This is a satin finished prototype and will be sold to the first person who hands me the correct amount of cash and alcohol at the BLADE Show. . . no credit cards, no checks, no shop credit, and no Guiness!!!!


Can't say how much it is, that's part of the challenge! The price for this one-of-kind prototype is imbedded in this message somewhere. Good luck finding it!

Be the first to hand me the correct amount and you will own the only "Off Duty" prototype! . . . Sorry fellas, but you gotta do it at the BLADE Show!

I'm pretty sure that I'll be bringin' this one home with me!

Without seeing a close up of it, I would say yes. If so and the one he is holding is unmarked, then there are at least two satin finished OD out there. If there aren't two satin finished ones out there, then this knife has already left his possession. I am betting there are two though, since I know he loved this knife.

After running a check with some photo software, there is a custom shop logo on it... but definitely an OD! :thumbup: ...So I guess not, but STILL sweet! Nice snakeskin on that awesome chunk o' INFI. :thumbup::thumbup:

Not necessarily so, I have no knowledge if Jerry marked the proto with a CS logo. I can't remember that far back. But if Nemmy still has the proto and the other one I know of isn't the proto, then given Skunks post there are three satin finished ones.
 
OK...OK.

Now is this a prototype chat thread or an actual knife thread?

I'm easily confused. There is both light-hearted banter and hard, knife related information here (I, too, want that knife Dark Hog is holding!!). Plus, I think Skunk might be hinting at something I need to know about. :confused:
