Lite Machete = A+, Arrowhead = C+

I think the the original post addressed legitimate concerns. It's feedback like this that helps us determine future products. Besides, what works for some doesn't work for others.

That's a positive way of looking at it. That's one of the reasons why ESEE products are the best in the world. Because you care about the customers opinion.

Sorry, not questioning his thoughts on wanting a spear head. and I didn't mean that to be as mean as it may have been seen or may have been taken...it was just that at that moment the "more substantial arrowhead = better spearhead" had me laughing. I can easily see wanting a spearhead, I carry a frog gig head in my pack in the warm months. But I just don't see knocking (no pun intended here) the AH-1 in the process. I think the AH-1 in it's size and simplicity it probably one of the best and most versatile small pieces to add to a small kit to come along in a while. For a long time I've kept a fishing arrow tip in my pack to be added to whatever shaft I could find available....but it could have never been used as a knife, as a firesteel striker, and would have been harder to bore small holes for an improvised water filter.

Once again my apologies to the O.P. if that was taken out of context.

I have yet to purchase the AH-1, although it definitely has a place in any survival kit. I can think of myriad uses for such a tool. It's on my current wish list!!
