A friend of mine has a Benchmade Terzuola gentleman's folder that he loves. He says it weighs under a half ounce. A special ed teacher who works in a very dedicated way with one of his grandchildren, admired it. He would love to give it to him as a gift, but it looks pretty worn. He called Benchmade and they no longer sell that model They'll sharpen it, but don't clean knives up. I put up an ad in the knives wanted section here, but haven't heard anything back. Anyone have any ideas, or can you suggest another very lightweight knife with about a 3" blade? Thanks.

What kind of price range are we talking? There are a ton of good options!

The Spyderco Air, a Gayle Bradley design is a great gent's folder, and the price is right.

For a gentleman's knife, less than 3" is perfectly adequate.
So I'd recommend the case toothpick, the case mini blackhorn, or a Victorinox cadet in ALOX .

Thanks all. One of you actually sent me a link to ebay for the Benchmade Park Avenue Folder 450 BC1, which is the exact knife he's looking for, and I got it for him. Thanks again for your helpful suggestions.

One of the Kershaw Skylines with the Flytanium scales might be worth a look. Nice, svelte little knife in line with the BM Terzoula.

Id say the old school ka-bar dozier thorn, if you can find one that is. still think its my most classy folder. Symmetrical, light, quick and slim not flashy. Was one of my first real knives I bought it way back in hs.
