A couple of years ago, I bought a half sheet of .177 CPM 3V from Aldo and had a bunch of blanks water jet cut and HT'ed by Peters to 60Rc. Then they languished on the bench while I worked on other projects. I finally finished one up. 4 inch blade about 1 3/16 tall with a nice taper. The tang is skeletonized and the scales are stabilized koa with a "Michelob bottle" shape. Once I get this one sold, I have two more in amboyna burl and Oregon maple burl in the pipeline.

Nice. Classic look, and definitely appears to be a handle to fill the palm nicely.

Funny, my wife just asked what I wanted for father's day, I told her jokingly a custom scythe in 3v steel or Damascus...

a big 3v project... doubt I'll get one, but, ya never know.
