I thougt it might be interesting – in case you have broken blades rolling around…

blade 7.4 cm
handle 9.3 cm
overall 16,7 cm

The knife lies pretty good in hand and is very useful for »Buschcraft« tasks. Pommel can be used as a hammer. I use this knife much much more as I have used original knife. I am glad I broked it.

Great job on that. Maybe you should start breaking them down and selling them. :)

How does it balance?

Despite my doubts when opening the thread, I have to say that that is one cool little knife! The shortened handle just really works.

Thats a neato project there. I really like what you did with the handle too. Great work!

I like it.

How about an in-hand shot to get a better idea of the scale?

Thanks,

B

How did I break my ka-bar knife? It was very simple. I throw it against a tree. Poor tree. Punishment came right away.

In-hand shot to get a better idea of the scale? Comes tomorrow.

after looking at the pictures again, it looks like a totally different version of the kabar than i've seen before...no ricasso, smaller handle, different handle texture, and it looks like the blade started off at only about 3 inches before it was broken...

where did you get the kabar that you broke and modified?
