These are his latest additions. I bought a knife in the exchange and an incredibly kind member here threw in this Boker as a bonus.

Little man always sits down and we open one anothers acquisitions together, our little ritual. He saw the Boker and immediately got those big puppy dog eyes. I passed it to him along with an explanation of just how happy a random kindness can make people feel.

My wife and I started all our four kids pretty young.

The kitchen is usually where they get their first lessons, with a serrated plastic knife that is still sharp enough to cut things. We progress from there...

My niece just turned 4 and asked for a knife. Her father loves to cook, so a petit chef's knife made sense. Her mother approved this petit number from Opinel. Frankly, I think it's a great intro to knife usage.

Mine got a plastic knife with a toy kitchen set when she was 2, and since she sees me using my knives she constantly asks to help use them. She's already claimed this one as hers (she's 3).

Odin hit the garage sales Saturday. Looking for knives. He found a few unique pieces to add to his stash.

Found it funny that the little mini folder is well used and real sharp. It was an actual user for some time.

He really knows how to make Dad proud.

Holy smokes. This guy's an animal. A couple more garage sale scores today. One week into first grade and he's doing work. lol

This is actually the first single action otf I've handled. $5

He got this, which the owners purchased decades ago during a trip to India. $5
