hi guys I have a question for you all. my wife and I got a realy nice set of kitchen knives for a wedding present. we were both quite surprised to recieve the whole set as they were the most expencive item on our wish list (around $1200) last year we re-located and in the move the parring knife flew the coop never to be seen again there is still a curved pearing knife but i hate seeing that empty spot in the knife block.....
they say X50 cr moV15 what kind of steel is this? can it be bought? or what could a guy use that would be comparable?
any help would be awsome thnx

you'll probably be able to find it in europe. that's gonna be a hard find here in the states but may I ask why not just buy the knife you lost seperatly?
