Well , as soon as Ron posted the first forged Integral ( that Keith yanked out from all our grabby little hands..:D ) I was on him like a starved dog going for a ham bone ( that's southern for fast ). This is #2 in the rough: drop point 4" blade , 01 steel , drop butt handle . She is going to be finished out with a mirror polished blade , satin handle area , sheep horn scales and mosaic pins . I have a bunch of pics to post of where she started from but have to cut them first . Damn, I'm excited !!! I've been after a few makers to forge me an Integral for a while with no success , finally struck pay dirt . Well hope you enjoy and thanks for looking---

Jerry

You can't go wrong with Ron. He has about the best feel for line I've ever found around a forge. If your's is as nice as mine, you'll be thrilled.

Thanks guys !!

Jim: those are awesome knives .

Richard: I'm with you , I love to see a knife from it's rawest form til it is complete .

Keith: I am really excited about this knife , as you well know and thanks for your help with this project .

I am trying to get the other pics cut down , it is amazing to see it go from a 1 3/16" round bar to a rough forge to a finished knife .

Thanks,
Jerry

Here she is in "rough grind " just about ready for heat treat.

Thanks for all the kind words guys . Ron has been great to deal with . We sent e-mails back and forth for days and he drew what I wanted on paper , all I had to do is say make it . He sent me an e-mail earlier this week telling me my girl was in a solid block of ice and submerged in kerosine . Can't wait to see her finishing up .

I'll have photoshop installed tonight so I can get the other pictures up . Already talking to him about a Damascus Integral . Damn, I need a third job !!!!

Sorry guys, I`m in the middle of moving and getting the new shop set up...should have more pics for you next week.

Ok we`re pretty much done moving and my new shop should be somewhat set up this week. Hopefully I`ll be able to get some pics up soon. My Puter has a nasty virus so it wil be down for a while, if anyone needs to get ahold of me for some reason Jerry has my number. (which I sent e-mail)

Later

I know all about that virus. I have been getting it from all over the place the last week or so. Folks, never open a "bat" or an "exe." file without scanning it with an anti-virus first. I did not open the file, but I have a feeling a lot of people did.

Hello to all ,

Well after the computer meltdown from hell , I'm back up and running again . Just got this pic from Ron . He has been moving and also had his own computer aliens himself . Just a quick update for everyone to look at . I'll try to get the other stuff done asap. I have to go back and retreive it off my hard disk . I am absolutely thrilled with the way this one turned out !!! I'll get some pics of it from all angles and post soon .

Thanks for looking ....
