Little Landon and Daddy

Sunday, Dec 05, update:

Today they took Landon's pic line out and the oxygen tube that was in his nose. The only thing that he has now is a catheter in his arm and a tiny feeding tube that runs in his nose. He is still receiving the every 12 hour dosage of methadone and ativan to ween him off of the the narcotics they had him on. Tomorrow we move to the 8th floor, which is a regular room. The nurse told us that will spend at least five days up there and then go home. I'm thinking like the end of next week or by the weekend. Landon is learning how to feed and making good progress. Once again we praise God for all the progress and give him the glory.

Saturday, Dec, 11, update:

Little Landon was discharged last evening, it is so good for them to be home, thanks to our heavenly father for watching over him, thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Daddy is on zofran now for the nausea, so maybe he will be able to eat and regain some much needed strength.

Good News!!

My little guy Lukas is 5 months old. When he was born he spent 10 days in the NICU. It was the longest 10 days of my life. He had an infection passed on from my wife. It was very tough at first but it will get better.

Good luck to you and our family.

P.S. The Busse boys met both my sons today in Easton.

Update on Daddy, Dec, 27, 2010

Can't write to much right now, had the End of Life talk with him yesterday, man that was the hardest thing I have had to do, to let him know that I could let him go, he is pretty low, still able to communicate, but it is getting harder. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Ronnie

Must have been hard Ronnie, I've got no words.

As you said before, He never gives us more than we can handle.

You and Dad are still in my prayers.

Hang in there brother !

Little Landon is doing great, growing by leaps and bounds.

Daddy is continuing to spiral downward, he told me just the other day that he was camping just outside the gates and had just a few more miles to go.

Ronnie

...And just the opposite concerning your Dad... :(

Smoke & prayers rising up for them both, Ronnie, as well as for you & your family. I am truly sorry about the news of your Dad. Hang tough, my friend...
