My oldest son Cain, very proud of his first "poop." Yes, his 1 year old brother was potty trained before he was (Cain is 3), but we finally got it done!

I'm online all the time. I'm fortunate in that respect. I'm almost embarrassed to be collecting hazardous duty pay in a place like this. It's hardly much worse than Fort Bragg. Some others here in Afghanistan are not so fortunate.

so i hear. guess i didnt notice your posts since you left. will you be able to come home for your baby's birth?

I'm trying for about a month after. The timeframe for the birth itself is a bit early in the deployment and a due date is by no means a guarantee, so I'll just show up after my girlfriend has definitely given birth and has had a little time to recover. It would be pretty frustrating if I spent my two weeks there and she just kept putting that delivery thing off until after I left. I should be there for her birthday as well this way.
