Here's knife #7 for me.. I dont know when to stop counting, probably once you fellas hit 100 you tend to loose track? Anyway, very comfortable in my hand yet not the most practical design I've come to realize after holding and using it, but still a fun and somewhat challenging build (for me). Comments/critiques appreciated.

4.5 overall length
01 tool steel
random burl I had kicking around, and stabalized (cactus juice)
brass pins

cute little thing. great wood and very clean even though there are lots of transitions going on. what was your intention of use with this design. herb rocker?

I didnt really have any intentions when I drew it out, I just wanted to try a finger hole. But now that you mention it it might come in handy in the kitchen. Thanks for the reply!

Thee knife is cute, and looks like an efficient cutter for some tasks. The only problem I see is the projections along the finger ring. These thin and unsupported pieces of wood may easily break off. I would have brought the handle down from the spine in a curve at 12:00 and across to the other finger rest at 2:00.

No, a brass knuckles has to fit more than just a "hole in a piece of metal" description. The legal term is "use and intent". It has to be usable as a striking weapon. Scissors, for example, have holes that the fingers fit into. No one has ever been arrested for using scissors...unless they were used as a weapon....use and intent.
