That is a "using knife"! Can't beat the price and i know the quality of your blades.

No doubt, I bought one off sales forum and love it, may be time for a brand new one. Why ever buy a production knife with bargains like this? You gotta know the heat treat on these babies sets them apart from anything you buy off the shelf, plus they look so damn business like.

Hello and thanks, I usually make these from 1/8" thick 1095 and keep the price at $40 but this one is thicker and made from 8670M steel so it $50. I plasma drag cut each one out of a bar and finish the profile and grind on the belt grinder. Like a lot of other knifemakers I don't use a jig. I bought one a couple of years ago (it was a pricey $400) thinking I'd be able to improve my grinding speed but I found the opposite I can grind faster and the belts last longer without the jig. What I found was that I can sense where the sharp areas of the belt are as it wears out and use those were I couldn't with the jig. I make up batches of 15 to 30 or so at a time and this helps keep me keep the price down.
Thanks,
Kelley

Bought 3 saw blade knives from Kelley. Small farm in the jungles of southern Guam. Air layer fruit trees, zip off banana corms, kill invasive vines, decapitate brown tree snakes.
