Little Sunfishies

They are a pocketful, but you get used to it. For me the more solid feel is worth the extra weight.

I have a Sunfish on me probably 4-5 days a week.

Quite honestly, the only way I ever carry mine is in my back pocket alongside my wallet. I throw it in when I get to work in the morning and on a few occasions it has come home with me accidentally.

Well, I broke down and ordered a GEC #26 Watchpocket Sunfish in Cocobolo... I'm excited to try this fishy out.

I have the Rough Rider small (with scalloped bolsters) and large sunfish knives. I like them both.

I've been thinking about a big Sunfish. I really like the Queen Cities.... great jigging on those. If they'd do the baby Sunfish, I'd be all over it.

How are the larger sunfishes for carry?

Not bad at all. They have a very slight to no pocket signature, since they are so narrow.

I do not find the weight of mine (Rough Rider with bone scales) to be objectionable; about the same as a Demo knife, or a couple dollars in coin.

I have the GEC #36 EO single blade. It definitely is a pocketful. Not obtrusive, but you know it's there. It doesn't necessarily disappear in the pocket. But when I need a traditional for rough service, it's my go to.

This Schatt is really nice. 3.5" but it's 420 stainless. Beautiful stag.

Nice knife thawk! I would love to see that pattern come out in the current Queen City configuration.

Excellent EO BigBiscuit.
