little update to my folder in progress.

Sorry been a bit for progress updates. i smashed my thumb real bad in the car door and its been pretty tender so i had to put it off for a month.

Don't see the pic, 54 other pics though. The heat treat scale is pretty thin and I normally clean it all off. You didn't say what kind of metal? I've seen a couple of stainless ones that were left with the heat discoloration and they looked good, but the edge had to be thinned down and sharpened so that left shinny steel at the edge.
