Many years ago I had a Skian Dhu(spelling), in any event a Scot stocking knife; got it from Atlanta Cutlery; it was stolen. Recently I got a catalog and thought what the Hell and ordered one; somehow the order got screwed up and I got just the blade. The blade layed around for a while and not being a handy person I just left it. Picked up a Whitetail Deer antler in my yard and thought , gee just cut this piece off and it would make a handle for that lonesome blade. Yesterday I cut it , cleaned it up a little, drilled a hole, and twisted the threaded shank down the hole; twisted it down to just about where it should work and, yep, the shank broke off. Granted I'm a klutz but..........In any event I would guess the steel isn't the best; landfill won't care! Get what you pay for!
