Recently a person who posted here sent me a opprobrious email about me and my service to him. I will accept the fact that I have had lots of problems with customer service over the last year relating too production, and delivery time lines. I understand the problems on my end, and I hope the follow explanation will help every one understand why I have had these problems.
Over the last few months I have just about gone bankrupt because of my equipment being stolen. I hope to get most of my equipment back over to my shop by the first to middle of next week to the end of this month, and I will then start installing it in the new shop. Below is an excerpt form the email message that was sent referring to this incident.
I have been in a lawsuit for this equipment, and the courts have said it is my equipment.
I have missed several dead lines on delivery because I am listening to my lawyers, and the courts. They say I will have something but court dates get set back, etc. and it doesnt come through. I got possession (by law) of all my equipment last Friday, but as of this post at 1326 hours haven't been given the key to the building where it was stored. I will have physical possession some time today (last Saturday) I have been told by the courts, and will try to move the KYDEX equipment to my new building and get it set up.
I will have production back up very soon I hope, and at this time I will have all back order finished and shipped. I will get your knives to you as quickly as possible at that point. I am slowly working on all backorder such as Air Assaults, and Machetes, and other knives. I have a total of just 67 knives on back order as of this post. I have Air Assaults, and LAK4, and some UJI knives made but not parkerized, and no sheaths. I have decided not to ship any knives unparkerized as it would not be right, the knives would not look right, or be protected.
Everything that I can find that is already made, but THAT IS NOT ON ORDER from anyone is what we are selling. <<<<<<<<< PERIOD! I AM NOT MAKING ANY KNIVES AS OF THIS POST. I have turned down or more I should say have lost over $36,000 dollars in military, civilian, and government sales because I do not or should say did not have the capability to make cutlery. (This is in a 45-day period from mid-November through all of December 2002)
I am not selling any knives that are on back order, and I am not taking orders for any knives that are on back order unless the person ordering knows the full story and delivery times. I have had a total of five (5) people who have cancelled their orders at of this post and wanted refunds. As of today I have paid all of these refunds. It has taken every dime that I have made to do this but it is taken care of. As a rough guess for every order cancellation I would say that I have had twelve to thirteen inquiries, and or replacement orders for that knife.
If you want a refund or cancellation I will be give you a credit and get you paid as fast as I can generate some money. I have no income right now except what is being generated by other items that might be in stock. As of Saturday I am out of everything but a few WOO knives for stock.
Let me know and I will try to get you taken care of ASAP.

Now I am not whining or trying to make excuses here, but instead trying to do what is right. For those who are waiting for knives from my shop I truly appreciate your understanding of the problems that are beyond my control. To those who can not wait, and do not want to wait I will take care of your refunds, in the most timely manner I possibly can.
