Hi all,

Anyone have any experience with both these knives? I'm going to purchase either the Woo or the Little Pecker (I want both, but I have to curb this little addiction that I have:)), and can't decide between the two.

Primarly role will be self defense, but I want to be able to get some general utility use out of it as well.

I don't mind the tanto blade or the chisel grind and I like the Woo, but am worried the LP might be better in the utility role.

Thanks for any advice you can give.
 
The Woo is the better weapon, the LP is better as a utility knife.
 
Thanks all. I just orderd the Woo from Newt himself.

What a great experience. I emailed him a couple of times and received prompt responses. I ordered over the phone, and he was very friendly. I had asked to purchase some extra cord to tie a lanyard, and he said he'd through in a piece for free! That's great service.

I hate to let the cat out of the bag, but Newt's currently out of Woo knives. However, he has some special edition SOF Woos that he's using to fill orders. He only made 500, and SOF gave him 100 back to resell. They normally go for $50.00, but he'll sell you one for the regular price!

I'll post some pictures and impressions once it gets here.
 
Be aware Newt is having alot of trouble filling orders i hope you get your knife I have mine on order for 9 months and its still waitng to be oarkerized.

I have three WOOs'-SOF, cord wrapped, and the Executive model- great knives-all.I also have the LP-what a skinner & SD knife. The best all around self defense & utility blade however is the NRGS- AWESOME! Enjoy your WOO get more WKC blades- you won't regret any of them!
You can count on good service from Newt as well - I did'nt wait anywhere near 9 months for my WKC blades.

I really like the NRGS, but I wanted to say under $40.00. I have this...problem...must buy knives...:)
