This custom handmade slipjoint is very much fashioned after a large English influenced swayback jack style knife.I think an old Schatt was used as reference ,when building it. Hafted in some very nice bone, real nice jigging & color,it looks just like old green antique bone,as they call it. SS liners, mill relieved,ss bolsters,ss facy pinned shield.52100 blade & spring. Nice smooth action, excellent mechanics. Long pull & satin belt finish on the hollow ground blade,as well as a cut swedge. 4.25" closed,7-3/4" opened up. Blade measures 3-3/8" from tip to bolster with a 3-1/8" cutting edge. Knife is very sharp, rather easy to open. Has a very smooth & snappy action. Blade centers perfect, closed.Spring is flush in all half stop positions.Bolsters are pinched.
Every aspect of this knife compares to handmade knives priced easily double. Most of my customers buying these folders by Lloyd from me,are buying multiples. As they realize the value after handling the first.Knife ships with a WR Case black leather sude slip pouch
