Just in,fresh off John's bench. 1/8" stock 1084 carbon. This is a gorgeous,but serious heavy duty work horse.
Hand rubbed finish on the blade,crescent nail nick,drawn swedge. Stainless liners are mill relieved at the tang. The awesome stag is pinned w/ ss pins.
Excellent action,spring is flush,no blade wobble,totally rock solid & great mechanics.Pinched ss bolster.
This is 3-7/8" closed,7" open.Blade is 3-1/8" from tip to tang,with a 2-7/8" cutting edge.5/8" thick at the butt
Overall,an awesome knife.You will not find,anywhere,a custom handmade slipjoint,new from the maker,with similar workmanship & materials,for $old shipped Con US via US Postal Priority insured with delivery confirmation
