Which is better?

I don't have a Leaner Meaner Street and I'm waiting on my Street Scrapper 4 but I'm sure someone has both.

Tell me what you think.

Is the mudder more utilitarian than micarta?

Is the Scrapper lighter?

Which would you carry more often?

Which will you keep untill the bitter end?

Is the mudder more utilitarian than micarta?

Not especially, maybe for hunting, if you're going to get blood all over it, or a long hiking/camping trip, where it could get wet and muddy.

Not sure.... I'm comparing it to my AD, same handle, close, but not exact

Which would you carry more often?

The Scrapper, I see it more as a user because of the respirene handles

Which will you keep untill the bitter end?

The MS or LS, just because I'd think the micarta would last longer, and I'd see less as a user, but you could always have someone rehandle your scrap yard, or just do it yourself with paracord
(If I had it rehandled really nicely, then I'd probably use the MS or LS more often.)

I've got a leaner that I edc -- and a scrapper back home in the mail (but I've handled the bog dog plenty to know the mudder handle well.)

The micarta is my choice. The mudder is lighter and even a little fuller (fatter) in your hand, but just doesn't feel as "substantial" to me. I like a little weight on a knife, makes it feel more secure to me somehow.

BUT, if i had to choose to pay 400+ for a leaner, or 160 for a scrapper... I'd go w/the scrapper!
