I Know I know it's not an even trade but i'm looking for Gen 1 or gen 2 i'd settle for gen 3 Plain edge/No blade coating/Ti bolsters. Must be NIB/LNIB or VERY mint. The sebenza just doesn't weigh enough. Carried 2 days and never used. Will arrive with all paperwork and in NEW IN BOX condition. In my opinion it can't be true NIB because it has been carried.
 
I have a gen II LCC D/A, Plain edge, stonewash blade, Ti bolsters and CF scales. All papers and the box. I carried it for a week. Still hair popping sharp. Perfect cond. Let me know. I am having trouble with my email, so please respond here or send a PM.

I know this makes me sound lame but could you please in detail explain what Dual action is and how it works. I might be VERY interested in trading
 
Double action means that the knife can be opened manually and automatically. The LCC D/A opens by pushing the top bolster toward the spine of the knife. There are no buttons or levers. It is a very covert auto to carry. :D
 
Ok NOW you have my attention. I'm very interested in trading. My only question is how reliable is the DA mechanism? I love the idea just need a little convincing that it'll stand up to use. It will be an EDC item.
 
I have never heard of an LCC failing. I know a couple of police pficers that carry and use these knives everyday on duty. The knife locks via a liner lock, so even if the spring failed, the knife is still usable as a manual opener. But, like I said, I have never heard of an LCC failing. Go to the Microtech forum and put up a post asking if anyone has had a problem, if anyone out there has had a problem, you'll find out there.:D

Did you get my Email with my address? I want to make sure because you stated tyou had problems with your email. BTW how were you able to email me Deliver confirmation numbers and insurance numbers before I sent you my address?

I need to clear something up here. I have been emailed by a few forum members who are telling me that you may be someone with whom I shouldn't deal. I have been told you might be Dennis Sweetser, TTO, Iced Saphire. A few people have expressed concern that I might be walking into a bad deal. The location in Maryland is familiar to some, the figures of speech that you use are also familiar to some. I personally have no knowledge of the people to which they refer, however, I have learned to take that advice of other forum members. Now, this is what I propose to do about this. You can send me the Sebenza, and when it arrives, I will overnight the LCC to you at my expense. Or, we can use an escrow. We can send the knives to a mutually decided, reputable forum member to act as an intermediary. When both knives are received, the intermediary can forward the knives to the respective recipients. When the deal goes through, I will post on all forums that I use, Blade forums, knife forums, and the Usual Suspects Network and tell people that the deal went through. A reputation is a hard thing to build, but an easy thing to destroy. I have a lot of money invested in my knives, as I am sure you do to, and I don't want to throw any of it away, as I am sure you do not want to, either. I did get your email, but I was having dinner with my folks. To answer your question about the confirmation and insurance numbers, I just picked up a few extra forms from the post office to streamline the trade process. The USPS will also deliver to your door, at no cost to you, the supplies you need to mail items, including boxes, labels, and forms. I hope we can still do this deal. If you are not the person in question, this is a chance for you to prove to all forum members there is nothing to be concerned about, and that you are an alright person, and a man of honor. I am both insulted and outraged. I have read forums here for some time before registering a few days ago. I've been reading long enough to know much about the TTO incident, I waited to register because as a new member I didn't want to be in the "is the new guy TTO" situation. Because I live in Maryland means zero! Just because a trolling fool lives in my neck of the country I am automaticly put in the same boat as he. No I won't send a $350 knife and wait for you to send me the LCC i'll find other means of laying my hands on one if that is the way you choose to do business because of unfounded and repugnant rumors. If you wish to make a trade with me and we both ship at the same time I will surely consider it but asking me to ship mine and wait to receive my knife is downright rude considering the source of information was from people whom do not know who I am and have no way of knowing in this "cyber neiborhood". If you with to take my word as a gentleman that I am who I say I am , and make a fair and even deal with me email me. If not well I'll live.

You are NOT a knifeknut, you are simply a NUT. You COULD HAVE returned as the Titanium Underboss and begun anew with adult type posts, staying the hell away from Whine and cheese. You seem to have some knowledge of knives so why can't you stay in general and just follow the leader and add intelligent and adult remarks to questions and isues raised in general discussion?

Then when identified after the reincarnation as "TI OVERBOSS". Your actions were very childish and very indicative of your severe immaturity. You need to grow up, get help and learn how to be honest.

I cannot figure you out. You seem to want to participate in this knife community and you seem to know quite a bit about knives but you cannot stay away from the one forum that brings the TROLL out in you. You were asked, counseled, helped, ordered, begged, told and directed to stay away from W&C and stop lying your A$$ off and Spark went way out on a limb to give you a chance that few felt you deserved and you TROLLED as soon as you could.

AND HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!!! If you are going to keep coming back two things must happen. One is that you will get the help you need, realize you have a serious mental health issue and get it addressed and then try becoming a productive member or two, KEVIN WILL HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AND PUT THE END TO YOUR INTERNET USE.
