This was only carried twice since the blade was re finished. It was pretty much new before the work. The D2 took a nice dark finish to the acid bath and finished up nice with the stone wash. There is one slightly darker spot on the left side of the blade for some reason and a small spot right near the handle when open that did not darken as much. I am not sure what caused the darker spot, but the light spot may have had some grease on it. All of the steel was acid dipped and took a slightly different color from it. All together it looks really nice. Very smooth action and positive lock up. I hate to sell it after the work, but I need to free up some funds. I have the box, papers, and tool as well. The tool did fall in the acid on the one end so it is half normal and half cooked. It still works, it just looks strange.
