I have a Spyderco Brad Southard for sale that comes dressed in a Lighting Strike Carbon Fiber scale. Scale made from a forum member here on BF.
Awesome scale & lock bar stop that just raise the bar on this already great knife. I'm not real familiar with LSCF so I'll describe what this is like. The fit is awesome, beautifully contoured and offers ZERO hot spots. The scale itself has tiny little pin prick size holes randomly throughout---I honestly think it's the nature of the beast? Others that work with LSCF please chime in.
The knife also comes with the factory scale/LBS that was RIT dyed black and the previous owner did an awesome job as well. Thong tube and what I believe is a frame pin for the original scale---pictured on box next to LBS.
Factory edge that's razor sharp, smooth flip action and SOLID lock up!!! The blade is slightly off center but absolutely does not touch the liner.
Price for Southard with black dyed factory scale $225.00 LSCF scale and LBS $80.00 or Southard with black dyed and LSCF scale/LBS for $305.00 SOLD with scale paypal only and I pay the fees. Ships USPS with delivery conformation---Insurance extra. NO TRADES PLEASE---need the cash. You are saving $28.00 off what I paid for the scale and LBS. I bought the knife here on the forum a little while back & I'm asking less than what I have into it.
I carried it ONE TIME and other than that it sat on my computer desk period :thumbup:
