So I bought this brand new from a reputable dealer a few months ago, but just got around to actually messing with it. Right out of the box it fails to lock open about %40 of the time. I don't feel like ordering a tool to fix it myself, and microtech won't ship it back to me here in CO if I send it in without going through a dealer (closest dealer is an hour away). It could easily be fixed but I'm getting out of autos completely since I can't carry them here anyway. I'd honestly rather trade it for a hinderer darkness or crusader filler tab, but it Is for sale at $old. shipped net. PayPal only.

It's blue with a DLC plain edge dagger blade. Box and warranty card included.

Well, apparently it wasn't me. I thought a three minute response time would surely get it. No dice. Good luck with the sale.

I guess everyone has a preference. An otf is a manual machine and like most other machines ever made, a oil should be used. Understandable that too thick of an oil would slow the blade when engaging and hold dirt and grit. Also on earlier mt otfs it actually tells you to use rem oil, and so I keep it stocked.

No preference, gzb is correct. Oil will just attract debris and gum up the very tight tolerances. Running them dry is best.

Go ahead. You do that. To each his own...

UTs have been one of my EDCs for 14+ years now.
A simple Naphtha flush (no need to open it up) every now and then is all they've ever needed.

Just speaking from experience...
